The problem
The architect needed full existing conditions for a two story house before a whole house renovation, without spending a day on site with a tape.
Outcome
Scanned in one visit while the homeowners were away. Floor plans and the 3D walkthrough were delivered first, then the DWG, drafted CAD, and one set of exterior elevations. Every room, opening, and ceiling height is on record for the length of the project.

The house had been renovated piecemeal over decades, so no two rooms shared a ceiling height and several partitions were not where the tax record said they were. The scan settled all of it in a single visit.
The architect received the capture package first (walkthrough, ANSI plans, room and opening report, imagery), then the DWG and drafted CAD, then exterior elevations for the addition side of the house. The 3D walkthrough stayed live so the contractor could pull dimensions during bidding without another site visit.
